Question by Stephanie C: A good body lotion for dry skin?
I live in Rochester, NY and it has been so bitter cold here. My skin is horribly dry and itchy and I want to buy a nice moisturizing body lotion THAT WORKS. I like Eucerin, but I don’t like how sticky it makes me feel.. Is there one that works just as well as eucerin without the stickiness?

Try any body creme. They are thicker and will relieve your dry skin. I am allergic to a lot of lotions and I use a creme form of petroleum jelly. It works like a charm and it is cheap! Otherwise, try Vaseline, Nivea or Aquaphor.

Question by kee: Why use moisturizing gel instead of body lotion?
Please provide a serious, on-topic answer.
It seems that “moisturizing gel” is growing in popularity. What are the differing characteristics and advantages, besides that one is a gel-based and other is cream-based? You can also state which moisturizing gel that you like and why, if you use such products.

I myself use moisturizing cream(not gel) .water is the vital thing to keep skin lively…so whatever u use ,just notice to have moisturizing factors.
if u have an oily skin, gel is better than cream, otherwise no matter which one u use.
I don’t try lotion,so let me don’t say anything about.
